Welcome to Learn About Me, a service of Business Xponent Solutions (Pty) Ltd ("Us", "We", "Our"). By accessing or using our website and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Learn About Me, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use our Services. By accessing our platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements and comply with all applicable local laws.

3. Account Registration

  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during registration. Providing false or incomplete information may result in suspension or termination of your account.
  • You must maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access to your account.

4. Use of Services

4.1 Permitted Use

  • You may use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Personal use includes creating and sharing content within the scope of our platform's intended purpose.
  • All content you provide must comply with applicable laws and not infringe on any third-party rights.

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our Services for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  • Share any offensive, defamatory, or harmful content.
  • Use automated tools (e.g., bots, scrapers) to disrupt or interfere with the operation of our Services.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or recreate proprietary aspects of the platform.

5. Payment and Access

5.1 Pricing

Our Services are offered for a one-time fee of $29. This grants unlimited access to complete 13 chapters. Once chapters are completed, there is a 3 month period to download your book. Additional chapters may be available for purchase after completion.

5.2 Payment Processing

  • Payments are handled by third-party providers. Users are subject to the payment processor's terms and policies.
  • We are not liable for payment processing errors or issues beyond our control.

5.3 Refund Policy

Payments are non-refundable except as required by law, including the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and materials on Learn About Me are the property of Learn About Me or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission. Users are prohibited from attempting to reverse-engineer or extract proprietary elements of our platform.

7. User Content

7.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Learn About Me.

7.2 License to Use

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely for operating and improving our Services. This license does not include any commercial use of your content by us.

7.3 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the content you upload.

8. Privacy

Your use of our Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Learn About Me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services.
  • Learn About Me is not liable for interruptions or disruptions caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, third-party failures).
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services at our sole discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms or other applicable policies. Upon termination, we may delete all user data associated with the terminated account, unless retention is required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
